01 2WD XLT suspension confusion... shouldn't I have torsion bars?
I was swapping new tires on today for winter use, and noticed that I have a coil front suspension in my 2WD XLT 4banger....I was led to believe by my manual, and from talk on here that I was supposed to have torsion bars.
Is this normal?
reason I ask is I ordered some KYB monomax shocks last night going by thier application chart for 2WD Rangers, and now i wonder if i got the right shocks.
(allright, skip the shock thing, went and checked shock is same 2wd/4wd except EDGE, thx)
any help would be appreciated.

u not a moron. just illinformed.
On a additional note:
ALL EDGES/SPORTS......doesn't madder if it's 2wd or 4x4.....if it's an edge or sport, it'll have torsion bars. Add Trailheads too. ALL 98+ 4x4s are torsion bars.
XL, XLT 2wd are coil sprung.
