08 Control Arms, Tie Rods, Tie Rod Ends

Down here at Fort Benning, they have some of the worst roads I have ever driven on. Potholes everywhere! Anyway, my front end (especially steering) is taking a beating. I'm looking into beefing it up a little. Is this even possible for a Ranger or am I stuck with what is essentially OEM replacements? If it is possible, what are some recommended websites and/or brands of parts to go with? I'm looking at changing out tie rods (at a minimum just the ends) and the control arms. Thanks guys!

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8530)

I'd get urethane control arm bushings, and then get some heavy duty greasable ball joints and tie rod ends. Over on Explorerforums, there's a good sticky with heavy duty IFS parts. I believe it's under the 95-01 section. It's a good read.

there are several companys that make HD or Premium ball joints and tirods. MOOG makes some great components that are greasable and much beefier.

heres the thread from Expo Forums
