I had Bilsteins on my pre-runner Toyota back in 92. They worked really well with no noticeable fade, of course, doubles on all four corners
The simple Rancho 5000s will be fine. Everyone had them and there weren't many complaints.
I haven't tried KYB or others since way back when. I'm working on my Ranger to sit a little higher currently with more wheel travel. Bilsteins again, of course!
Agreed. Poly.
They don't compress as easily as rubber will, so it have more control...less give.
Try to look for graphite poly bushings. They'll squeak less
