#1 bars

I know they came in fx4's but they don't end up in my local salvage yard very often. Explorers though are plentiful. Are explorers a common source for #1 t-bars?

yes. if you look at the door tag, it should say under SPR what bars it has. if it has a 1, you're good.

Yeah I was down there today, looked at 6 or 7 explorers, all had b code bars, only a couple t-bar rangers one had f code bars and one had no doors so I couldn't check door tags.

A number of XLT 4.0 Xcab 4.0 trucks got them too....they also usually have stock tow hitches too. Don't have to specifically look for a Fx4 truck.

Tried and true method would be getting some brand new ones from Ford. Start out fresh and brand new.
