Leaf Springs

I have a '96 Ranger 4X4. One of the leaf springs in the rear is broken. How big a deal is this, and is there any way I can purchase just one?

Do you have access to local junkyards? You could pick up some there

So I could just pick up one? Or do I need the whole bunch. What do you think that could cost at a junk yard?

junk yard, or check out explorer leafs from junkyards if you want a little lift, but i would buy them in pairs, since you might buy 1 new/used and it will be worn different, and cause it to sit lower. if it's you daily driver wait til you get it fixed to drive it again

Just go to a junkyard and buy a pair of used leaf springs and save yourself the hassle of having to take apart your old leaf springs. If your bolts are gonna be as seized as mine were youre gonna have enough fun as it is just removing them
