Icon7 2001+ Ranger Coilover?

Hello I am planning on adding another truck to my collection and have decided on another ford. Looking to get the body style from 01 and up. Trying to research on what kind of lift options I have (2WD). Can I do a coil-over, body lift, and spindles at the same time? Looking for about 6-8" to run 35x12.5 MTZ's.
I know I will need at least a 2" BL because I plan to add the 5.0L (00 Exploder) engine I have laying around.

EDIT: Wanting to get rid of torsion bars.

You can do all three from my understanding, as long as its not the torsion bar 2wd (edge and sport) models. Running 35s might be tight but possible.

Just read u have torsion bars, I think u can do a coil over conversion but I don't know if u can lift it further with coilovers and lift spindles as well... If you had a coil spring front end you could do lift springs, spindles and a body lift

Ok, are there any coil over kits out there that will give me about a 3-4" lift that comes without shocks? I have some Fox coil overs laying around from a failed dune buggy project. Also thanks for the quick reply!

I was under the impression that all Rangers were torsion bar, that's why I said I wantd to get rid of them. Are you saying only the Edge and Sport models have torsion bars?

I found this, so any other model that's not on the list should be a coil set up right?

Then look at getting an early 2000s 2wd non edge model. Then you can lift with all the method described in the original post

No some newer sports have then (only god knows why) but I wanna say 05 and older sports have coil. But sport is just a package. Look for an early 2000s non edge and non 4x4 model

How would I lift the coil springs on a ranger if they came stock? Add stiffer springs?

They make spacers that go on top of the coil, and I'm sure there are longer springs out there...

2006+ sport models all had torsion bars and yes the edge/sport model CAN use a coilover/lift spindle combo and a 3" body lift

Edit: torsion bar models are much better to modify as they do not have the crappy coil buckets.

Is there a build thread for that ranger? What size are those rims?

Im not sure, when he post pics of it he is vague on the lift details, he has 20x10 XD Bullys on there.
35x12.50x20 tire if im not mistaken
I tried sending a PM but his inbox is full, and hasn't logged on for a while.

Im thinking a 2" BL, a 2-3" Coil-Over Spacer, Ford Explorer 8.8 Axle and Lift Springs with axle blocks. But then again im not sure
