does anyone with the super-lift kit have a problem with the tie rod ends rubbing or really close to the inside of the rotor??? and if so is their any way to fix this problem???

 

Never had that problem... is it the tie rod end itself or is the the dust shield between it and the rotor? Did you trim the shield before reinstalling? Post up some pics!

 

No I took the dust shield off

 

Have you replaced the rotors or tie rod end? Something doesn't sound right... it shouldn't be close enough to rub!

 

the tie rod are replacement moog and the rotors are factory their not like rubbing but they are really close and i think the heat from the rotor is like melting the tie rod rubber cause i have holes in both of them

 

with the increased angle of attack of the super lift may make the fat ended moogs get mad close. I know when compared to stock ends the moogs are mucho fattero so maybe its just a deal of a part built for a stock height truck?

The Superlift shouldn't have anything to do with it as that part stays the same, the hole for the tie rod end is in the same spot. Must be something to do with the aftermarket end then.

 

The superlift knuckles are designed so the tie rods maintain their proper geometry, so it shouldn't be a factor.
