Wheel spacers aren't needed. You can run either size I suggested on stock wheels.

adding the shackles wont give it a funny looking stance will it. and im looking at bigger rims or a diff rim that can hold 33's

If you max crank your bars and still want a factory rake, install some shackles. Belltech 6400 are a great shackle and tons of people run them. More below...
Even though they're made to be a 2" lowering shackle for a 88-98 Chevy truck, they actually LIFT a Ranger. The reason is because the rear shackle on either truck are opposite of eachother. Chevy leaves are above the spring perch, with shackle pointing up. Where on the Ranger, the leaves are below the perch, with the shackle pointing down.
Some Ranger guys flip their rear shackles to be just like a Chevy setup. This will lower the rear about 2".
The 6400 shackles gave me 1.5" lift. I measured before and after. Most get 1.5-2" on the bottom hole. You also have the option for 1" or 3/4" lift(however you look at it) because they've got two usable holes that you can bolt the leave into.
Here's mine...(bottom hole)..
Here's my little brothers(truck is lowered 4/5, but wanted a little more rear lift, 2nd to bottom hole)...

^^ First you dont have coils. second you can buy ORW coils overs that replace your factory torsion bars.
Shackles add rake, i dont understand nor like them. The front is the hardest part to lift anyways. Theres no problem with the rear stock for clearing 33's-35's...So i dont understand why people use shackles but oh well....
TO original OP::: Dont put add-a-leafs on they ride horrible. Just do a BL (body lift) and mount some 33x12.50 on 15 wheel...Or stay stock and put some 285/70 or 305/70 on your 16 wheel

No that stuff wont work. You dont have struts either...
Look at post #72, that what the coil over looks like
https://www.ranger-forums.com/f101/o...64/index4.html
It runs under $1000 for the entire kit, you can use it with a superlift and achieve more lift for a total of like 7".......Or run it stock with a Bodylift....The shocks are adjustable to like 2" or so for the front...
It replaces the torsion bars, which make for a better ride.
