not in about 2 hours got the first key in .....2" lift and i put the bars back to the stock location...15mm out from flush are what my bolt is on to the oterh side then the shacks in the back

will have after pick....batteries are dead in camera so i cant take a during picks

well got the front end done .......my buddy showed up early so I am leaving the shackels for next week....but the truck is lvl right now and i dont rub in my driveway anymore 8)

will get a pic of front end after i bbq some steak..and eat it.....

the gap from my tire to the fender went from 3 1/4 to 5 1/4

Wow the Pre-Key Mod has exploded! Its the new fab, everyone is doing it lol
Once you do the pre-key mod, you will want a BL in no time.....then you will want more lift.....it just happens like that.

Get some pictures up! we need to see this thing sitting proper.

I just ordered mine from the dealer yesterday. The 07 ones. The parts guy also thought ford was weird for doing this. oddly enough he ordered some for his 08 as well.

hopefully next weekend I'll have them in with my 32's.

can do the front keys and rear blocks in about 1 1/2 hours...with air tools takes forever to ratchet the nuts off the u bolts

OK... thinking out loud here and I think only you guys who've done the prekey mod will have the answer... are you guys just doing the keys or are you swapping the blocks in back too? If you have jusst the prekey without swapping blocks in back is the truck closer to sitting level? I was gonna just prekey and not do blocks so it would sit level... just curious what you've found...

I put the shackle in, sits just nice. I like it level with a weee rack to the front.

I have the pre-key, superlift, stock blocks, and skyjacker 4" leafs. i adjusted the torsion bar adjusters to give me about 1/2" of rake.... probably gonna crank the torsion bars a little more so my front sits level or slightly higher than the rear.

I dont think the larger blocks in the rear are necissary with your body lift. To me, a level truck looks better than a rake. If you do the new torsion keys and leave the stock 08 blocks on the rear, you will be pretty much level.

That's pretty much what I figured... the BL is a mute point since it's uniform around the whole truck... and I'm not tooo particular about it being raked/level but I thought I'd look into it... thanks guys!

So I tried this today and ran into a problem. The torsion adjuster screw just will not come out so that I can take out the key. I'm using a jaw puller on the key to take pressure of the screw and also used PB blaster.

I'm mechanically "slow" so be gentle.

did u ever get it sorted?

also I got 2" in front with the bars at their stock tb crank screws

sits about lvl now

only pic i got os of the new gap



Hopefully will get the shackles done this week but my rubbing in the front stopped even though it was only minor before

and yes i know its messy but its like that every friday since work is a dirty place

maxem out man....i had the stock block with the 2" shackel and prekey maxed and it was level then i put a 2" block in out of my 01 mazda for the raked look but now with the cap on i am level again

i did exactly what was in the post with the bottle jack and took the adjuster screw all the way out. jsut make sure u measure where it was at stock first...........

also did the shackels today took about 1.5 hours but no problems.......


Its raining like a **** right now but i snapped a pic from my garage ....

so i toll i went from 32" to 34" in the front and 33" - 35 1/4" in the rear with these mods

its not though. it gives you enough tire clearance so you dont need the larger block in the rear, thats why i mentioned it

Did mine today. Looking at the keys I took off... the ones I got from Seed60, and another set from a 99, the guy who was helping and I couldn't tell the difference in the keys. All three of them were clocked the same. I'll see if I can get a picture later of what I'm talking about.

Also upgraded to #1 bars and chevy drop shackles.

Before: T bars only cranked 1/2 way
