softer rear suspention?
hey all, i have a stock 2001 ex-cab 3.0l v6. im thinking of ways to soften up the rear suspention.
the current plan is a 2 inch shackle lift, 2 inch block lift, and removing a few leaf springs...
thoughts? suggestions? comments? let me know!! also interested if anyone know of a 3 inch rear shackle kit..... as im lifting the front five inches

Its a truck why would you remove leafs. Is it a stock 2001 with the stock or cheap shocks? I would put money those are the ride issues long before I started pulling leafs. I assume by the original post its a 2wd? Either way I would bet you have a stock 2+1 or 3+1 pack since its a 3.0L I don't know what leafs you plan on pulling...overall I rate as a dumb idea. Shackles and blocks sound fine in your case make sure you get some decent shocks. There won't be a 3" shackle because it would be stupidly long and be unsafe. Good luck with your build google around and read some stickies on various forums.
