Ordering a lift
Hey guys I am ordering a lift for my ranger. I just want to make sure this thing will work on my truck before I order it.
515H 1983-1997 2WD Ranger 4 Inch lift
the kit says it will not work if my truck has,
• Does NOT fit models with manual steering.
• Does NOT fit 87-88 Rangers w/"High Rider STX"
option.
• Sway-bar drop brackets are required for trucks
equipped with front sway-bars.
I have a 1996 XLT the only thing I am wondering about is the manual steering. I am assuming since I have power steering this is ok?
Also I if my truck has a sway bar I can just remove it right?
Also if anyone has used one of these I would like to hear what you have to say about your experience so far.

On the topic of ordering a lift; I'm looking at getting the Camburg 5.5 for a 2005 XLT. Anyone have pictures and wheel/tire suggestions that won't fry my bearings every 6 months? I figure I'm looking at about $1800 for the lift, but I'd like to spend as little as possible on wheels and tires. I live out in cattle ranch country so tires don't need to be too intense, just something to get me through occasional mud and mostly dry packed dirt. The extra clearance would be great though.
