3 inch drop

I'm thinking of dumping my truck....has anyone else gone for 3 inches?

No one else has ever gone for 3 inches.

lul, most do a 2/3 or a 4/5 DJM drop.

Nah, 2 in front 3 in the back. Truck will be level.. But i thought you said you wanted to dump the truck?

Its easy. just unbolt all the factor stuff, then re-bolt the DJM stuff back on.
For the rear, just unbolt leaf springs, bolt them up but under the axle with the new spring plates and hardware.

Yes it comes with instructions.

Ah thanks billy. That picture was taken right when i did the swap and has a 1in lift shackle in there (so a 4/4 drop), so the rear hadn't settled...its more level now

did you guys have to tinker with the drive shaft at all? I was told that if you do anything over 3 inch lift or drop you have to adjust drive shaft angle or something like that??? Does that sound right? I may start looking for a new project and i wanna drop a ranger again, had a 93 lowered and traded it in, biggest mistake ever, I still miss that truck

Nope I haven't had to touch my Drive shaft. Anything lower that abut 7" in the back you'll have to notch the cab for clearance.

so billy what is the size from tread to tread....just lookin to see how the tires i got will work with a dropped truck...and then since both yall (billy and grant) got rid of emblems on ur trucks...whats the best way to do it?
