belltech shackles: 6400 vs 6700???

Hey guys i just picked up a set of belltech 6400 shackles, and im planning to use them to lift the rear of my truck about 1-1.5". I plan to accomplish this by using the second last hole on the shackle.

Im curious, as i was looking in the parts list in the box, they list the 6400 shackles as a 2" drop, which i have read nets our trucks about a 1.5" lift...

Now i dont want some crazy rake, my tbars are cranked, but i notice belltech makes a 6700-series shackle, which is a 1" drop.

Im curious has anyone used this model before? and how much lift would it give on our trucks. Like i said im only looking for about 1-1.5"

If my idiot math works out correctly.....

My 6400 2" drop shackles netted me 1.5" of lift on the very bottom hole. Based on that....

Those 6700 1" drop shackles will net you 3/4" of lift.

I doubt you'll be able to use the second to last hole, there was not enough clearance when i put my shackles on. The leaf spring does not fit into the shackle opening when you use the second hole.

So I am in exactly the same boat...although I actually NEED new shackles because mine are rusted out haha.
Shane: Can you explain your 'idiot math' to me. I cranked my bars, and i think ~1" or less is what I need for horizontal perfection...but how did you figure those #'s?
Alon: you dont carry shackles do you? Or maybe have plans too?

My "idiot math" was just a lil playin' around. lol. I measured the gap between my tire and flare before AND after the installation of the 2" 6400 shakles. And yes....that was after some driving for them to "settle"...if they actually 'settle'. lol. Before: 8 3/4". After: 10 1/4".

Roddy...your truck is brand spankin' new. Your bars WILL sag. And that rake will become way more obvious overtime. It'll have a rake. RangerExtreme was maxxed out #1 bars with the 6400 shackles and stock 2.5" blocks. Sat almost level....slight rake. My truck was really level when maxxed on saggy B bars and stock rear 2.5" block. I know your an '08 and short as hell already.....but you should have a slight rake afte install. But then again...over time, those bars will sag and it'll not be as close to level.
