Stock to coil-over coversion

I am gathering info on burning on some 3" taller coil-over towers on my truck and running Fox coil-overs w/ something like 14" or 16" Hypercoil 500/600lbs springs. The coil-overs are 26.65" extended and 16.65 collapsed The way i figure it i would have 3-4 inches of down travel and 6-7 inches of up travel. What think? are my cv's gonna just rip apart? Prolly would run some BTF UCA w/ high angle ball joints. Id hate to just spend $1k on stuff to just put bumpstops and limit straps on it.

if you like your 4 wheel drive you will end up doing this. There are reasons for limit straps.

The stock CVs are only good for maybe 1/4" more up and down travel than the factory suspension will allow.
