33s for my ranger??

Ok, so I'm new to this site and I'm looking to fit 33s on my 2000 Ford ranger XLT 3.0 2wd. I have stock suspension and I have 16" aftermarket rims. I have looked everywhere all over the Internet and cannot figure out how much a lift I'm going to need. I was thinking a 6in suspension but wasn't sure if that's too much, thanks.

You'll probably be fine with 6"

This is DangerRanger96's truck with 5" of lift (3" spindle, 2" coil spacer) with 32x11.5R15 tires. I'd get 15" wheels as well. 16" wheels don't offer big tires in friendly load ratings for our trucks. You'll probably run into a lot of E rated tires and a few D. Both will ride like crap and wear incorrectly.

Thanks man!!!!

I have looked everywhere and couldn't find a definite answer. I've already got the 16s but have found a local tire place that had some good sets of a/t's for them

No problem. Just be aware that you will most likely not find a load range C tire in the size you want for a 16" diameter wheel so the truck wont ride that well and the tires wont wear appropriately.

good luck and post pictures whenever you're done with the lift/tires!
