4wd lift on a 2wd?

6" skyjacker lift for ford ranger

I really really want that lift. But in the ad it metioned nothing about 4wd. But he emailed me back and told me that its for a 4wd.

Are they able to work together?

The only other option i have found that is a resonable price for my broke 17yr old self is the 4inch rough country lift. comes out to like 475 to my door.
