help on tbars

well last night i cranked my tbars..i still have room to go but i accidently rounded the pass. side adjustment bolt...i need to know how to get it out and where to get another one

You can get a set of theses Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more

Or if you have access to a welder weld an old socket or a longer bolt to the one that is rounded off.
The heat from welding will usually loosen up any binding caused by rust or galling

Should of heated them up from the get go....they crank so much easier when the lock tite is melted

I'd do what ted said to get em out though

Seriously the tbar bolts suck nuts. They shoudl've used a stronger metal because mine are rounded also.

Let's just put it this way, next time i **** with tbars im gonna remove em permanently.

mine was bent when i bought the truck and i heated them to remove and i still broke the ****er off. what a joy that was to replace.



and get them from any ford dealer
