92 Bagged Project...
that's wicked! nice build, nice welds, clean setup. i got a couple of questions tho, why did you raise the bed and not just cut a little extra out of it? and are you gonna cover the rear notch and suspension with bed to make it look cleaner?
either way that is an amazing build. way to go, you got some mad skills.
edit: i just looked to see where you were located and if there is a michigan meet, you'd better be there so i can see that thing in person!

I'm going to weld in some wheel tubs but I may leave the frame exposed.
Is there a more approiate section for this thread? I'm rebuilding the engine and doing some body mods and would like to post some updates. I just didn't think it belonged in the suspension thread?
The engine is out and on the stand. I wanted to replaced the main and rod bearings because I had a low oil pressure issue at idle.

Turns out it has TRW Forged pistons in it. I was thinking it had the stockers for some reason.

And back together.. I had the block cleaned, brass soft plugs installed, new cam, crank, and rod bearings. The crank was polished, mains were line honed, I installed a new oil pump, double roller timing set, and of course, the GT40 heads that I had all redone.

The engine went in the other day. The heater box wouldn't clear the new valve covers so I pulled the engine back out. I had to cut the studs that mount the heater box to get it loose enough to remove. I didn't think that it would ever come out after welding the fender in around it but it did.
