if you use All Pro leaves you can buy their spring hangers, and you can buy shock tabs from them too..

you should be able to use the old leafs if they look good.

the guy i bought my axle from gave me some 4" lift leafs for a wrangler, they worked out good but my truck is a reg cab 4cyl so its kinda light compared to most rangers.

yea i think after reading his sas thread im defently getting the supperduty shock mounts...im just hopeing this guy still has the truck sitting his his yard and he emails me back....i want to see how do the springs look on it...theres suppose to be like 4" of lift higher then the stock 78 f150 leafs...if they look good i think they will work...i mean there on an old f150 but who knows the motor is gone so i have no idea how good they are...

Matthew, seems to me like you might look to talk to John Griggs about his swap, seeing as you might just get the whole radius arm suspension from the truck.

hmm well i guess i may have to put this on the back burner till i can find the right dana 44 axel...it just seems like it will be a pain in the *** to make the axel with the coil springs work on my truck...one of my buddys who restores jeeps is going to keep an eye out for me...hes telling me to just use a dana 30 since my truck really isnt going to go any bigger then 33's....but i think that axel might be to weak...

well, if your going to run a d30 i have a spare yj axle laying around and i know someone that has a tj axle without the disconnect.

if you ran a tj axle you will need to buy spring perches, you would have to anyways if you plan to go SOA.

you would also be able to keep your stock bolt pattern.

I have talked to a guy that has done both (leafs and coils) both are not that easy. its not anything that is easy.

The only person that it would be easy to is someone that does it for a living. Otherwise if its easy for you, you are more than likely in the wrong profession.
