I have a slight clunking sound in the front end only at very slow speeds .Can not duplicate on highway . 30000 miles on ball joints ,new shocks , new swaybar end links .I can just feel it in steering wheel . Any ideas thanks.

 

Did you check the balljoints for play?? Bushing maybe?

 

No not yet , put in Moogs about 30000 miles ago hope there not bad already .What bushungs are you speaking of. Thanks

 

Well check all of them, bushings squeak more then anything else. Check for play in all of your suspension parts. Which side does it come from? Does it have to be driving or can you make it "clunk" by pushing down on it?

 

Have you done anything to your shocks? I once had the top nuts of the front shocks come loose. lots of rattling from up front.

 

Yes replaced last year about 4000 miles ago with new RS5000s they should be good.Only makes noise at slow speeds on a dirt road or a uneven surface ,can almost feel it in the steering wheel. No loose play but you can sure hear it .Thanks.
