AAL help

so the previous owner installed a long AAl on my truck and just the other day i noticed that one of the clips that hold the leafs straight had broken off and that the leafs had began to separate upon inspecting this more i notice that the AAL was installed above the first leaf and the overload spring is this correct? i thought the AAL was supposed to be installed just above the overload spring?
i have a day off tomorow and would like to get this fixed ASAP so any help would be great
thanks Jordan

so this morning i actually took the wheel off and got a chance to looke at the leafs and the add a leaf the previous owner installed is 3in wide causing the the clips to not fit tightly thus making the other leaves get twisted out of alignment
so can i run this aal or should i take it out all together the leaf springs are probably shot tho
what are my other options explorer leafs? what else i will probably have to run to the junkyard soon so i can take care of this
