AAL & T-Bar???
So i searched on T-bars, made it to page 5, didnt see what i was looking for.
So here is my questions. What is the average height you can get with the T-Bar crank? Also, i will do AAL to, and on the website, http://store.summitracing.com/partde...ew=1&N=700+150, it just says from 1 1/2 - 2 1/2. I dont want to be super uneven when i do the t-bars. One last think, all i need for the AAL is http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&view=1&N=700 & http://store.summitracing.com/partde...ew=1&N=700+150 |
if oyu are just doing a t-bar crank, go either the shackle or just the AAL...both will give a lot more lift than just a t-bar crank
|
Option 1: T-bar crank 1-2 in (Free)
The basics: tighten the preload bolt on the Trosion bar, this causes the truck to ride higher in its suspension giving you a stiffer ride and 1-2 in of "lift" from this thread: https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=30416 |
I cranked my T-Bars all the way and then added AAL's and it almost sits even. here are some pics. check it out: https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=53548

Good link RangerJustin
Also, Trigger01, that is where i got the idea from |
So only do one.. or thee other.. Shackle or AAL.. Which would be better? I am thinkin the AAl.
What all do i need to do to install that? I am pretty mechanicly inclined.. Also, i was lookin at summitracing.com, and they dont offer it for a 2006 ranger. It stops at 2002, i am on the phone with them right now.. seeing what they say |
you can expect to get 2in from the aal and 2in from the shackle that is if you do the full lift. The shackle is adjustable though but i would do just the shackle with your t-bar crank.
|
well the shackle is easier to install...but it lifts a little more than an AAL i believe...
and they still work, had them on my 04 |
So for the shackle.. do i just order the lastest year they list, since they dont offer one for the 2006?
They dont even show a ranger....? |
it is made for chevys...just order the 6400 trust us it will work
|
I plan on doing the shackles and Crankin the bars... I cannot wait. Belltech 6400 work every time!
The shackles are made to lower a full size chevy...the shackles/hangers on those trucks is reverse of ours, so a full size chevy drop shackle is a ranger lift shackle.... ;) |
Torsion bars some times only yield 0.5"... its kinda a range between 0.5-2.5" every truck is different...
|
wow, I had never heard that before... maybe I should do that before I get shackles...see how much lift I get. I guess that mostly has to do with spring rate?
