which AAL would you recommend?
i'm on summit's site right now looking at AAL's and was curious if the long kit or the short kit would be better.
which is recommended? pro-comp, superlift, tuff country, rancho are the choices.
do the spring widths change over years/models?
since 2008 does not exist in the drop down, which year should i choose? as mentioned this affects what is available for options on this site.
i am also aware that i need to order new u-bolts and giving the info for 28 or 31 spline is important as the two axles are a different diameter.
i think it was pedro that said ruff stuff sells em' pretty cheap but if summit offers it as part of a kit i might just order everything form there.

edit: ok, so i called summit to ask about differences between short and long leafs and the sales guy said short makes it stiff, long is more softer which i could see. i also measured my leafs and it came out to 2.3ish". which is what is listed in my links. i was looking at the superlift but he recommended the procomp ones. fine by me since there is a 20-30 dollar difference.
but i asked about u-bolts and this threw me..... he said i can reuse my u-bolts and in regards to stretching "i shouldn't be concerned since it's not a 3/4 ton or larger" he also told me to use something like loc-tite. i forgot the name but it's silver and comes in a tube. to be honest i kinda tuned him out after he said to reuse the old u-bolts.
i told him that i've read and have been told not to reuse and that was what he told me. then asked if i wanted to go ahead and purchase. i told him i'll just get em online.
