? For All You BILSTEIN People...

Ok after doing some searching on the site, i've noticed that the "BILSTEIN" shocks that come stock on the LVL2s and the ones i get from fordpartscheep.com (or w/e the site is) arent that great... Ok so the ones i should be looking for are the 5100 series.. are these it? and is this a good price/deal?

Thanks
(sorry for the beat to death topic)

Sean, those will be just more of the same kind that you already have. The main difference between Bilstein's "OEM" line and 5100 lines are that the 5100's are zinc-plated, and have a tiny bit more of the bells and whistles. All in all, they're about %99 the same shock, all the 5100 will give you is a nicer look over their normal yellow body and blue boots. Are you looking for rears or fronts?

You can get them way cheaper than that if you shop around some more. If you do end up waiting until you come up to Cal Poly, let me know when you'll be up and we can find you some and throw them on.
