Add-a-Leaf help
I need the rear to sit about 2 inches higher than right now. Just got the truck lifted with shackles and spindles and need an extra 2" in the rear for some added weight I plan on getting and leveling it out after I tighten the torsion bars. What all do I need for the AAL? Do I need the short or long leafs? I have enough room with my U-bolts so I wont need those. Will I need more than 2" if I raise the front 1.5" and add a toolbox and receiver hitch to the rear? Any help is appreciated: pro's, con's, any help whatsoever.

with a spindle lift you need AAL and shackels so yes. short pack is fine and yes stock u-bolts is fine... you kinda did it ass backwards cause you have to take apart your leaf pack to put it on..

Yeah, I bought the universal shackles that actually did lift a full 3 inches, but something happened with my measurements and I have to take the torsion bars to stock height for it to be level. The spindles gave more lift than I was expecting. So the short leaves just fit in above the bottom leaf on the stock pack?

no they like go in the middle. comes with everything to install them its dead simple really just sounds hard...
|
It can't be harder than installing spindles with hand tools.............I need to buy some air tools, a compressor, and a decent jack because that just plain sucked.
|
ya air tools are a must i cant live with out them..
