Confused on which bilsteins....

My birthday is coming up and I'm going to try to get some new shocks. I searched and it seems that most suggest the bilsteins. I am confused on which model bilstein to get. Is it the 5100s? When I offroad I mostly drive in mud or sand, and light trail. The truck is a daily driver and taken offroad about every other weekend.

the 5100s are GREAT! I'm going to be getting 5125's for the ranger when the big swap happens. I loved the 5125's my buddy had on his yota.

The only 5100s I can find are for a lift.......

Im at stock height so would I get ones for a 2 inch lift since 4wds come with a factory 2 inch lift?
Im also thinking it doenst matter about the year...

hmm well we have pot holes everywhere here in our roads, and I hit dips and holes offroading sometimes so that kinda makes me scared.

Those stock length ones are nice too...that's what i got right now. I liike em! They are the same ones as the ones that came on FX4 Level 2's. About $245 shipped off ebay for them. I forget the name of the line...but they are bilsteins. They be yellow and blue.

I live in bay city, well my house is like 3 or 4 miles out of bay city. The roads to my house suck, and I drive on old country roads, and gravel roads so they are washed out and the semi trucks tear them up driving to and from the grass farms around here.

The 5100 bilsteins are for lifts. So you are correct, the ones you linked too should work for you.. Actually on the year you are wrong. You need to specify what year. I just looked at my receipt from 4 wheel parts and its different part numbers.

You will love them though. I just got them on real recently. They make a huge difference compared to those crummy OE shocks.
