lift question about years

i was wondering if anyone know wether or not a lift (in general) from 2004 would fit a truck from 2005. i have a 2005 edge 4x2. and if not does anyone have any ideas about what kind of lifts would fit on amy truck?

Yessir a 2005 Edge 4x2 has the option of a Fabtech Spindle Lift, a Pro-Comp/Doestech Spindle lift, or a body lift. A lift that fits the 2004 will also fit the 2005.

Im sure the spindle lift would fit, and i believe there are people running them. Thats about the only lift for a late model 2wd there is. If you get a kit, wether it be susension, or body, let us know, theres a few guys here in jax that will lend a hand, including myself.

for suspension, the doestchpro-comp, for ease of mind im operation. And the only bodylift to ever purchase for a ranger, PA= performance accesories.

Most people like the price of the eBay Doestech ones. There IS some grinding of the LCA in order to get them to fit, but I'm sure the FL guys can get that fixed up for you! The Doestech and Pro-Comp are made by the same company and are generally preferred over the Fabtech because the Fabtech will widen your front track width by about 1" on each side. To the trained eye, it looks a bit funny unless you get an Explorer rear axle or wheel spacers to fix the difference in width!

Try to give 4wp a ring, see what they can do. We have two here, one by the airport, and one on the westside/OP area.

Other shops in town as well. OHV Offroad, Adrenaline Offroad, North FLorida Off-road. ECS. 4x4 and more. Sure theres more too.

Im in arlington, and so is brian kinda, so hit us up, either one of us are able to help. He'd have more info on the 01+ lifting though, hes got the pro-comp spindles, and PA bodylift. All i have, right this min, is a PA bodylift. But that we'll be changing soon.

You got a pm also.

go with fagtech spindles. i wasn't to happy about the 1" wider idea until i got them on. i think it looks fine and the added width up front with the wider tires makes for one hell of a nice cornering truck. it may sound odd to think that my truck can corner, but i surprise just about ever person that has ever ridden in my truck when i drive it hard

You can save a lot of money and 3" lift if you get the SPINDLES from a junk yard. F150 spindles will fit perfect in MOST rangers. (not all models.)

Edit: AAAAAAAND.... THE REST WAS
