Air bags with JD traction bars

I'm interested in air bag helpers for my 2006 FX4 to offset the weight of an ATV. I also currently have James Duff traction bars, I'm not really willing to sacrifice the traction bars for the bags. I would prefer to not go with an AAL, as the Ranger is a bit rough unloaded as it is.

I'm pretty sure most air bag kits are designed to fit in front of the axle tube, but that is competing with the traction bars. Are there any kits that are designed to fit behind the axle tube? I'm guessing that it wouldn't be that hard to modify a kit to fit behind the axle tube.

Opinions and advice please.

Thanks!

You won't really need airbags or anything to handle the extra weight of an ATV. With mine in the bed loaded with gear, the truck sits about level.

Rangers come with a rake. Putting an ATV in the bed will just level it out and it will ride fine.

If you're worried about your leaf springs, they will be fine. Only way you will flatten them out is if you are constantly putting a heavy load in your rear and letting it sit there.
