Front end lifting on 2wd 99' arms, where to buy....

Ok arms it is, but need to know the cheapest place to get a kit, anyone know of anywhere that would be cheaper than 638 (performancelifts.com)? Thanks.

I have a 2wd 99' B3000 and have 3" spindles in the front and 3" blocks in the back and AALs also in the back, I need to figure out how to lift the front another 2" at least. I know a coil spacer would be great but far as I know they do not exist for a 99' only 97' and before. I have heard of taking a CHEVY coil and using it and getting lifr from that. But basically I am wonder if anyone knows of a sure way to get another 2" out of the front of my truck. Thanks for the help in advance!

Control arms will lift it.

you cant use just coils or coil spacers, your stock arms would have clearance issues with the frame, you would need aftermarket arms. check out fabtech

i thought that was only true after 3 or so inches, then replacement arms would come into play...or maybe i'm wrong, which has a higher probability of being correct...

well, i tried just coils on my 99 and the control arm very clearly hit the frame, so you wont be able to use just the coils/spacers with the stock arm, there just isnt enough clearance

I can't find spacers, do you know of any soundperformance? Did you replace your arms? If so did you do it yourself and was it a easy bolt off and bolt on? Thanks for the help.

For a Ranger you can get 2"'s out of just aftermarket springs and new upper control arms.

i ended up not doing it, to be honest. coils are relatively cheap, i think about $150 a pair but they may be a lot cheaper now, its the arms that cost $$

Anyone know the cheapest place to get the arms, coils, stoppers and preinstalled ball joint kit? So far the cheapest that I have found is performancelifts.com at 638 with shipping. Thanks for any info you can give me on purchasing arms
