This really sucks! (First Post)

Got my first ranger about a month and a half ago. Its a 05 EDGE 4.0 4x2. I had intentions of putting a 3" Fabtech spindle lift, aal's and chevy shackles.

This is what sucks- Fabtech has not been manufactoring any spindles for the 05 EDGE for the last 2 months, and wont be "fabbing" them any time soon.

Anyone know of other spindle options? Im a lil scared of Doetsch/Springtech, only cause everyone here reccomends Fabtech. Camburg is just wayyyy too pricey.

Either way, if i have to go Doetsch/Springtech 3" spindle, I def want blistens shocks all the way around. 5100's seem to be the reccomended ones, but is there any other info I need to know before I place the order for the shocks?

Thanks for any info provided

THIS SITE IS THE SHI*****!!!!

Performance Lifts has them. out of stock for right now though.
PerformanceLifts.com -- Fabtech 2001-2007 3" Lift Spindle - Edge & Sport

Theres a thread on here i read that Doetsch/Springtech lift spindles are very good. you may also get a warranty with them, im not sure though.

Oh, and Welcome to the site. It is, indeed, the ****!

Haha! Thanks guys but no jumping the ranger for me. Its still new(to me). When I start getting dings and dents, I'll prob wheel it more and harder. Needs off-road lights so I can see comming home out of the trails.

Save your money up and go with a Mid-Travel Kit from Camburg. You can do a simple Entry level 6.0 or go with a Performance 6.0 that runs dual Bilistein shocks. If you do it right might as well do it once and the first time. I know some people have had good luck with doestech some have not. Me personally I should have gone with the Camburg in the first place. But my fabtech gets me around and does the job. Just my .02 cents.

I would recommend against Fabtech. All I see are bent or broken snouts. I have a buddy that works there and he would never run their stuff on his truck.
