Redneckstone 11-29-2007 09:52 PM

$1-Broke...

camodown 11-29-2007 09:56 PM

from what I've seen the cost never stops haha

2k to 10k guessing

redranger4.0 11-29-2007 09:57 PM

for mine so far

800 front axle
1600 rear axle
550 coilovers
350 links
200 coils for coilovers
100 misc brackets
100 steering box

3700 with prolly another 500 (at least) or so in small crap left to buy

those are the big ticket items for me, and I still have more to buy.

if you total my whole build you can double that number then add some.

It depends a LOT on what you end up doing. You could probably throw an SAS conversion under a truck for under a grand... but to do it right, and to do it well... you'd be looking at 5k or so I think.

My samurai is already solid axled, and i'll be spending about 1800-2k just building D44s for it.
