There is no bolt on setup for the front and if u do find one its prob aim industries and stay away from them, their stuff is pure crap.
as for the back yeah its bolt on but you will have to notch the rear or your not going to go lower than say a 7 inch drop in the rear. |
I have chassis tech beams (aim) on my ranger and love them. they are beefy and have had zero probs with them. Check suicidedoors.com. they have alot of stuff for rangers. bagged I beam rangers are kinda of a pain to get aligned, but to bag it you juts got to weld on brackets, it not any harder than putting a bag in a s10 once the brackets are it. And you can tuck a huge wheel with all that neg camber! I will be using suicide doors products on my 88 with my AIM beams, so we will see. their prices are really competitive
|
their beams are ok but for all their air ride stuff its pure crap.
order from suicide doors. |

yea and it would be a pain to convert the ibeams over wouldnt it

If you can find an early Toyota front frame clip you'll be set. I'm still debating on using that setup, since I'm building a frame firewall back, it wouldn't be that hard to do.

I know a guy that bagged a 94 using AIM's beams, and after the 2nd set of them bent he finally went with another company that had the square ones. My buddy that does bags around here says he doesn't like messing with beams either cuz they are a pain, but fortunatly he is willing to do mine. Like everyone else has told you, beams are a pain, and there are not any bolt on applications for the front of rangers, and suicidedoors.com is a good place to get all of your bag brackets. They usually have good prices for everything.

aims beams are the sqaure ones aka chasis tech beams which are a not the greatest to bag on since they are sqaure and hit the oil pan when your trying to get the truck to lay out.
DJM Dream beams are the best and they are circular. |
sorry, confused myself, I meant the DJM ones. I have looked at so many different companies the last week trying to find the best price for some for myself. And the square ones hit the oil pan? I have not heard that. I guess I might have to take a chance on the DJM ones then.

Thats why most people prefer the dream beams. I have never heard fo a set of dream beams getting bent or what not and everyone who is on bags or is dropped on rps which is basically the whole site nothing but rant and raves about how good the djm beams are. |
but as far as aligning them just fill it to where you will ride normally then align it, correct?i know the camber is gonna be ridiculous to drive around with all the way down but i dont plan on doing that so
|
determine ride height, algin it. and the second you air up or down your out of alignment haha. i beams will get nasty neg camber if set up wrong, and can also get some bad positive camber if you really ride high.
i will vouche for the kp6 link, my buddy has it on his f150 thats hes selling and it rides like a dream. piece of cake to install. oh ya.. rides like a dream compared to alot of 2links. nothing wrong with a 2link.. just cant hit sides |
