Ball Joints

Ok two quick questions. I have this squeak from the front end when i hit bumps its a 2wd drive with the coil over suspension im not sure what it is i was told ball joints but its only got 90,000 miles on it and the ball joints look brand new except for a little dust on them. but im also getting a slight vibration in the steering wheel while driving the vibration is constant doesnt get worse with higher speed or anything. and the whole truck seems to vibrate a little more than usual so im not real sure what it could be any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also if it is ball joints whats a good brand/place to get them i dont want to spend a fortune but i wanna get it right. also when i turn the wheel i it gets hard to turn at certain angles almost like it briefly loses power steering.

You can't tell that the ball joints are worn out just by looking at them. There's nothing to look at. All the wear is happening internally. 90,000 miles is plenty to get out of a set. They're probably due for a replacement. Rockauto might be a good place to look for the Moog brand replacements.

Yea I had 98,000 on mine and I had to replace them. They were pretty bad, couldnt even align the front tires without replacing them.

take off your wheels , thoroughly clean the back side of your rims , and have your tires/rims rebalanced

if the problem still persists , then you have either a worn tie rod , bent rim or pooched wheel bearing
