He's been running that set up for a while now, but he doesnt post here often so who knows what problems he's ran into, but I'm pretty sure he trimmed the bumper.
just to double check, you do have your T-bars cranked too right? and Don't forget to regear when you go above 33's
and for the rear get yourself some chevy Drop shackles and and a k1500 leaf pack that will bring the *** end up a bit, and its up to you to remove or leave the blocks in the back depending on how much axle wrap you want

I don't know too much about edges, but I am getting a 2.5" C Arm and coil lift for the front, and have spindles already, mabye that could work for you as well, but like I said I don't know much so do some asking around or research.

as far as i know the edge package with t-bars pretty much gives you that extra 2.5" that the arms do on an xlt, i dont think those arms mork with edge trucks. so to put it in a nutshell. an xlt with the 2.5" control arms and 3.5" spindles is the same as an edge with 3.5" spindles give or take. correct me if im wrong fellas

trust me, i'd trade it for a 4x4 tommorow
although I don't NEED it...it would help not to get stuck every single place
i'm kinda with ya...all i want is mine lifted enough to clear 33x12.5's...b/c they look good and I will be able to get to some offroad places I can't get with no lift (extra ground clearance)

My truck is two wheel drive and no it is not a show truck I do use it, I just posted some pice from mudfest in the pics and videos section so go check it out. I have a 3.5" suspension lift, a 3" body lift and crancked torsion bars (no secrets) and I am running 39.5X15.5 tsl super swampers on 15x10 wheels. I trimmed about an inch off of my front bumper on the lower inside, other than that no other trimming, and the only rub is if you turn the wheel all the way the biggest *** on the tire just barely touches the t-bar, but even me old 35x12.5 mud terrains did that, because I never installed the steering stops that came with the fabtech spindle kit. As for problems, I have had the tires on my truck since march of '05 and have put 27k miles on the truck with those tires, including towing trailers and highway driving, RyanRebel can vouch for me on that, and I have no problems at all. I have the stock 8.8 rear end with the stock 4.11 gears and limited slip, no modifications to the power train at all, and truck will drive on the highway at 85-90 mph with no problems. I just drove to Okeechobee from Daytona without stopping at 85+ mph this weekend and the truck was fine. So its up to you how big you want to go, all depends on your budget.
