Bearing Question

i have been hearing the clicking noise in my truck for sometime now, it happens in two cases. One, when turning the wheel sharp and other times just when i hit a bump in the road, especially when i have a passanger with me. I have heard that that specific symptom is caused by the bearings, also i have heard that this can be related to the ball joint, and steering stops. I was wondering if anyone had a definitive answer and if this is something that i need to fix right away, thanks

Is your truck 4x4? I had the same sort of problem on my truck, and it baffled the hell out of me. Turned out it was some rust on one of my front hubs. I just pulled the wheels and cleaned everything with some steel wool and it hasn't come back yet. It was well over 8 months ago.

Sounds like ball joints to me.
