Body vs Suspension Lift

I want a 2 or 3 inch lift so I can fit 32x11.5 tires. should I get a body lift or a suspension lift and what is the difference?

Info on your truck would be nice.

If you are 98+ a that crank and shackles would be the cheapest and easiest. You would get 2" of lift.

assuming your 02 ranger is an edge model, you have torsion bars which can be adjusted by a bolt which increases preload causing the truck to be lifted about 2".

Edge= torsion bar crank. Non edge just do a body lift... Pretty easy
