f-150 i-beams on ranger?

Heh as a 94 which means he has the twin I-beams already. So once again, if he's trying to go big, go SAS. If he's trying to prerun he can just modify his stock system. Swapping in an old ford f150 front end doesn't suddenly make the truck a good prerunner.

Maybe not but if they aren't to difficult to swap in then you have cheap and easy extended beams. Doesn't sound that crazy to me. Its a hell of a lot better than a SAS if your building a desert style truck. I know there's a guy on one of the other forums that swapped a TTB from an F150 to a ranger. I don't recall it sounding that involved really. And it was BA.

damn he beat me^
actually its pretty common for ttb rangers to pull those kinda beams. however its usually the E150 beams that get yanked. so in short....
yes it can be done, it wont be just an easy swap, but its not as bad as sas.
and no its not gonna make it a prerunner outta the box but will be wider and have more drop, esp. if he goes coil overs or long shoxs with the right springs.
