Explorer leaves + shackle flip?

I was just wondering after looking at some pre-runners rear suspensions if it were a good idea to do a schackle flip with explorer leaves along with some bilstein longer travel shocks?

Has anyone ever done this just for more flex?

It wouldn't be for pre-running or jumping just for more flex on the trails.... thanks for any advice.

why would you flip the shackle that will lower it you will get lift from explorer leafs because of the higher spring rate. i would just get drop shackles you will more flex that way i think.

i don't want lift. i should've said that in my first post. all i am looking for is more flex from the rear. and because flipping the shackle does lower it (and cause more down travel), i would get explorer leaves because that lifts it.

o and i already have the belltech drop shackles. cause my tbars are cranked a little. sorry if i'm not being clear

get chevy leafs 63" off a 1500 series truck and then do the shackle flip, the chevy leafs are flexy and give enought height to make up for the flip

If you want even more flex, do the 63 swap, and remove your rear block. You will be the same height as you are factory, have better articulation, and reduced axle wrap.

no because the explorers are arched alot, the chevys are more flat then the explorers so they flex better.
