Replacing control arms

Anyone have a link to a good how-to or can help me out?

Both, I found the info I needed on them though. Its for a 2wd coilsprung, not my truck.

why are you replacing both control arms? the ball joints are removable

They're DJM arms, I found my answers on RPS

Ill tell you right now mark the location of everything along with the eccentrics because you will have to have an alignment done after you guys install them. Also a hydrolic press is a god send with ball joints.

^^Maybe not that important....unless there's drop springs also being put on as well. If just the arms are installed(2" drop), the stock upper arm bolts should be removed, and installed exactly how they were on the truck before.

Its just the arms, springs are already in there. I saw the thing about marking the bolts on RPS.

Trent can you post the how-to from RPS or PM me the link... finishing my drop when i get home in 2 weeks.... been fun in Europe but I am ready to get back to the USA....

Trust me mark them and have it aligned you won't have the same camber no matter how hard you try. We just put new fabtech control arms on lances truck and we still have to dial in his camber.

It wasn't a how-to just a thread like this one. Everyone said they just bolt right on, just need a BFH and some PB blaster.
