4"Superlift 98-00 Owners got ???

For those of you who have the 4in Superlift kit on your 98-00 Ranger's I have a few questions.

I'm purchasing the above mentioned kit, and have some issue's that maybe some of you also ran into...for one my t-bars are sagging as it sits now, I know that the 4th inch for the kit is gained from cranking the t-bars. I have no idea what bars I have now, and because my truck was wrecked there is no data plate on the inside door...so should I just go for the stiffest bars? Which is what part #???if anyone has the #'S I would appreciate it.

Next when you install the kit, obviously it's a good time to replace the ball joints....I've read somewhere about MOOG having a nicer set of balljoints available for my year truck?Anyone have the #'s for that? Upper and Lower?

Did any of you run into any problems, that could have been avoided?Anything you suggest? Anything you guys replaced while you had the front end pretty much apart? Also how much longer are the Superlift FRONT shocks versus say stock bilsteins on a FX4. I purchased Bilstein's (FX4) from FORD PARTS not too long ago...and I'm thinking due to the 3 in difference in the steering knuckles that I'm outta luck??? Thanks ahead of time guys appreciate any help or advice.

PS ...anyone know where to get a Torsion Bar tools, without spending the friggin 104$? Any other tools?

all you need is a pulley puller or 2 prong puller. you can rent one from autozone

torsion bars.. .you prolly have 1 rating bars. maybe b, 1 is the best... and zach has posted the part numbers.

you have to run the superlift shocks they are longer.

balljoints..

ok so I can buy the lower balljoints and they will fit in the lower control arms fine...but the upper's I have to buy the MOOG UPPER CONTROL ARM in order to have the greasable upper ball joints?OR do the MOOG upper (greasable) ball joints fit in the stock control arm?

on a stock ranger the balljoints are part of the upper control arm.

when you get the moogs it comes with the arms and the moogs can be replaceable after that.

no matter what option you have to get new upper control arms to replace the upper ball joint.

if and when you replace them you will need an alignment.

also you will need an alignment after the superlift install. make sure you get the torsion bars adjusted to an even height side to side in the front before the alignment.
