Chrome air tank installed (with pics)

I am taking my ranger to the next level over the next year. I recently got a chrome 5 gallon air tank from airbagparts. Today I had to install it after I ran to Hose Fast for some fittings. It turned out pretty nice. I like having the extra 5 gallons of air, now I am running two 5 gallon tanks. The compressors run a little longer but not as often.

Wow that look awesome.

Did you do any of the custom work on the bed and suspension?

<TX>TORKiT 08-11-2012 08:07 PM

Thanks Taylor. Not really by myself. Wolf Race Craft did the Z and four link. I built the drive shaft tunnel myself last summer and redid some of the air management. In October I am getting a custom sheetmetal bed with bead rolls built for it. Then spray the new bed sprayed with Line X. Then the trucks going to paint. My painter and I have been talking about doing a color change and some body mods. Things are looking good.

Looks really good. I would keep it silver though. It looks so clean.

I bet you are ready to hit a switch. It takes time and do lots of planning. I think yours will turn out better.

I think so too, I really like the gray. It will be show truck with a factory paint code. But for an extra grand or so a change is something to consider. I may have some paint renderings done to help make up my mind. My painter is recommending we use BASF Glasurit® line. I still have until December to decide, this is when it gets fun and exciting.

Under the cab, driver side of drive shaft. See the before photo, there are two brass 1/4'' plugs in the ass end of it. I just daisy chained them together.
