Rancho 9000XL review (or whatever their number is)
I replaced the ball joints and tie rods on my Ranger this weekend, and went with the Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks to replace my stock ones.
The ride is awesome. I have them set on level 1, very good ride. I even have load range E tires. It was a little pricey, but overall, I'm very pleased.

I have a 2006 Ranger FX4 Level II
about 75000 miles...and decided it's time to replace the Bilsteins
Went with the Rancho 9000 XL and the My Ride Wireless control system.
Nobody wants to install the MY Ride Wireless though..Still looking for an installer in the Bay Area California who will take on the task...I've read the reviews it sounds like it's just time consuming checking all the hoses for leaks and cutting them to the right size......So anyways I just got the stocks installed and I'll find somebody to help me, I can do it myself but I need to find somebody who has a Lift...I heard it's way easier if you have a lift...anyways...
I wasn't sure and I might be mistaken but it looks like my ride height is lower now?
Does anybody know if the Bilsteins that came with the Level II FX4 package were any bigger than stock?
Maybe I'm just seeing things...I would hate to have ordered the wrong size...and lost any clearance or ride height due to getting stock sized shocks....

I've had the 9000s on my '04 for about a month now and so far I'm very happy with them. I just completed an 800+ mile round trip with them set at "3" all around. Much better than the RS5000s that I took off. I got a helluva deal on them online, plus $100 rebate-worked out to $54 a piece in the end.

Ah ok... although I misspoke you understood what I meant right?
The FX4 Level II package didn't come with shocks larger than stock right?
As long as the Bilsteins that came with the truck were stock, when I ordered the Ranchos I ordered the stock size. Not a lifted size.
