Front tires cambered

I have a 94 ranger 4.0 5 speed with 4 inch rough country lift and 33's. I was wheel in and I hit a mud hole and herd a pop. It has brand new hubs and bearings up front. Now when I reverse my tires camber more that a *** civic. I can barely turn while backing up. If anyone has had this problem, what causes this and how did you go about fixing it. Please someone let me know ASAP!!! Thank you

I honestly don't know much about the 90s Rangers but a little bit of advice from someone who suffered from bad camber and never got an alignment....spend the $100 and get the alignment so you can keep your tires. Depending on how bad the camber is your tires will wear before you know it

The camber is only in reverse. Going forward it's as if nothing's wrong. Tires are straight and drive straight. A guy at my work told me to check the ball joints so that's where I'm gonna start.

Oh ok. I would change those. Even if they're not the problem it wouldn't hurt to change em

I don't think so. Last time I checked you could get a whole upper control arm with the ball joint for under $75 but it all depends on how much you value your left nut

I mean I've offered my left nut for a twin turbo duramax, twin turbo 12 valve Cummins, even a 1989 Ford tempo diesel with a stack coming out of the trunk. So a $75 balljoin? I'll pay outta pocket lol

Lmao in all seriousness a OEM ball joint shouldn't be more than $45. If you get the upper control arm with it most likely around $75
