Prcicing seems fair as expected a little higher than the last run but what's $20 extra. Just let me know if you need payment to get started or what.

Actually, with the exception of the shipping, which did go up a couple of bucks, the pricing is the same as the last run. The first run may be what you're thinking of.

I'll start taking payments when I get an eta from the shop, but if you guys want to get the list going, that will help gauge how many sets I'll need to have made. The last two runs were ten sets each, but if it looks like I'll need to have more done, I will.

ok im in some pretty deep **** here and i need some help...

are you guys positive this will work on a 2010? because right now, my truck in in the shop in pieces, and my mechanic is saying that the shocks wont fit due to the angle that they will be sitting on.

he tells me that it works in the older trucks because the nature of the shock would be angled forward, ahead of the CV shaft. however in my truck, apparently the nature of the shock is angled backward behind the CV shaft.

so because of this problem, he said theres no way this kit will fit in my truck. if someone could confirm this or help me out and tell me that it will fit, it would be much appreciated

ps, if there's a 'how-to' on this, could someone please point me in the right direction

As far as I know, nothing changed in the suspension setup on newer Rangers, you can use other coilover conversion build threads as a how to

yeah dude shouldn't be a problem. i dont believe that ford changed the suspension on the rangers. if you're torsion bar then you're good to go.. the shock does basically sit in the same exact location as the stock one. there is a guy with a build thread on the explorer forum that did it with a superlifted ex. its a straight forward install really. as long as you don't have 2.5 shocks, or shocks that are too tall you're okay.

here is a link to the how to thread: How To: Install Coil-Overs and ditch T-bars - Page 4 - Ford Explorer Ranger Enthusiasts "Serious Explorations"®

This kit will
Work on a 2010 I have a 2007 and my friend has a 2011 and both of our suspensions are exactly the same we have both got the superlift kits on and are waiting for these brackets to do our coilover conversion. I have done a ton of research on this and it's a pretty straight forward deal. Read through previous posts and make sure you buy the correct parts ( shocks must be 2.0) and length depends on lift or stock it's not rocket science. These are basically adapters to make your truck use different shock mounts.

Yep - It's no different than any of the others.

Do you have any pictures of the 'issue'? I'm sure we could help you figure it out pretty easily then.

Regardless of model year - the factory shocks angle backward and therefore this coilover does the same (aka - lands behind the front axle).

The only thing you’re doing is pulling out the factory shock & replacing it with some mounting brackets and a coilover - in the same orientation & general position that the factory shock was in.

Outside of welding the gussets & drilling a couple new holes (which use factory ones as alignment marks) it's really just a simple 'bolt-on' type of deal.

Here is a picture of my RCD kit which is what all of this is based on:

I posted up a month or two ago saying that I would be a for sure on the next batch but unfortunately I don't think I will be anymore. Trading my truck for an 07 Infiniti G35s Coupe.

So are brackets that are getting made, pretty much bolt on and play? Or is there welding that needs to be done? Also, we're is everyone getting the rest of the parts, like the shocks coilovers and limit straps.
Thanks

Getting tired or looking at the rock catchers after the body lift.
