thanks for the compliments, and yea I am getting bigger tires in about a month... I think that I am gonna go with some 265-75-16 firestone desination a/t's they seem to get pretty good reviews, I was looking at the 285-75-16 but I have kinda heard mixed reviews about them on the stock wheel. Someone said that they dont wear very well since they are soo much wider than the wheel and they will rub.
.... yea my driveway has a small incline, it still looks the same on flat ground

Yeah don't go with the firestones. we run those on our work trucks which they are thouroghly but to the test everyday. They aren't all that great offroad and after about 2 mths they aren't all that great on road. They seem to wear pretty even but that with constant rotate and balance.

Yea it rides fine, its a little rougher and a little bouncier but it's definitely worth it. Before when I would bottom out a lot on the bump stops in the front and now its not a problem.

Hoz, do u have any suggestions, I need a tire that is decently cheap, and I do about 90% on road and 10% off road- so basically I am looking for a capable a/t tire, thanks

they are some what adjustable there are 3 different holes you can choose from and I used the last one to give the most lift. Which ended up being about 1-3/4"

Sully do you have any rubbing issues? The only problem for me is that I am keeping the stock wheels (poor college student) and they are only 7" wide and I have read that they have problems wearing evenly since the tire is so much wider than the rim. I know it will fit but I am worried about longevity. Oh and those tires look great they look huge compare to the stockers.

Cranking the bars made mine ride smoother. There's more stress being put on the bars to keep the truck up higher, which results in it being easier to make them travel. It also puts more stress on the bars than they were meant for being at stock height, so over time, even a year, will make them permanently weaker thus they will be softer in the long run. Mine are so soft now that I can almost make the truck cycle through the entire suspension travel just by me and another person pushing on my prerunner bumper...i'll post a link to my video of this soon. haha

for me, it made it a little rougher but not really a big deal. Its definately worth it. The only thing is you should make sure that you have the #1 torsion bars. (you can look in your door jamb). The #1 bars will hold up best to the t-bar crank
