[QUOTE=ranger4.0;1702265]Snowwheeler, I get the impression that anyone who is not your dad is an idiot? I'm only 22 and because of that I don't know ****? I can do an engine swap in my truck in my driveway but I can't Jack up a vehicle? I would be more worried about breaking off one of the bolts than having all four corners on Jack stands.

no ok so what pissed me off was the fact that you said all engineers are a pain in the ***. since my dad is one and i have a lot of respect for him that irritated me. ive asked his friends the same question(these people work on there cars all the time) and they all said that they would never get under a vehicle that is only on two jack stands. So i dont know, i guess that it just varies from person to person on how the truck should be jacked up. i still dont under stand why you would take a short cut though

are you wanting it to level the front to the back? because if thats what you would like i do, i dont believe (assuming its stock ride height) you would need 2 inches. i measure from the ground to my wheel fender of both the front and the back and only have a difference of about 1.25 inches...

You've gotten the answer for about 5 pages now. The **** apple doesnt fall far from the **** tree. Don't become an engineer. About 5 pages of us have done the SIMPLEST of mods to our truck and apparently this is too complex for an engineer to do. I mean seriously, this forum is half full of tards who live in the south or have trucknuts on their truck and yet they still manage the simplest of tasks and I have NEVER heard of a truck tipping over on this forum. Well I have, but the owner was a mexican, so no big deal.

/rant over (Supergildo tipped his truck)

You know, instead of five pages of bs, he could have just picked up his own damn phone and called someone himself.

wow this thread went bad after the first answer if youre that worried about stuff how does your dad change a flat tire? i mean a ranger is not like a car your jacking up a rear wheel drive truck in the front the drive line tires is still on the ground, the front tires is still on so if the 99% chance is does come off the jacks the only mess youre have to clean up is in your pants, because i can crawl under my truck and still have plenty of room and another thing if your that worried about getting hurt youre more likly to get hurt driving down the road by a drunk driver or someone talking on the phone, eating and so on,then working on your truck that's just the way it is, half the people on here have there t bars cranked, last question for you.has your dad cranked t bars before?if the answer is no then why trust him
