Crazy D30/D60 question

Ive heard it from two different people through emails and pms on two different forums....

saying that D60 knuckles can fit on a D30 axle for high steer, and you can put axle shafts from either a 60/44 into a 30?

i think they are full of themselves ive searched here and there but didnt find anything and figured somebody would know between, andrew, zach and matt somebody would..

see me too but two different people said this -- from two different forums so i was like hmm myth or not?

just seems like if something was going to fit on the D30 it would be something from a 44 not a big ole 60

i mean the 60 that i have the damn knuckles are the size of my head theres just no way that they will work..

Reider makes a 44 knuckle that fits the Rubi 44 or TJ 30, but there's no 60 knuckle out there. You can run true 44 outer stuff with that knuckle too, also can go high steer with it. As for shafts, NO WAY a 60 shaft is gonna fit in a 30.

Same knuckle and outers there, no gain to be had.

it is possible using dodge outers but the dodge outers have external hubs and are generally just not as good as regular D44 outers.

a dana 60 knuckle is way to large, you might be able to cut off the inner C's and run a Dana 60 inner C on the d30 tube but I doubt that would work either as the Dana 30 tubes are pretty small.
