Creaking noise
 

I have a 2009 Ranger. It has started making a creaking noise when turning the steering wheel at low speeds, like backing down the driveway or making a turn. I've tried lubricating the steering column where the plastic housing is but does not help. When I run over speed bumps or rough roads it sounds like the same noise. Could this be a suspension problem?

Yes. I had the upper and lower ball joints replaced. That fixed it. Thanks.
