drop brackets??
hey guys im looking to get a little extra lift up front on my 98 ranger, so far what im working with so far is;
cranked t bars
longer than stock(2in) pro-comp shocks
expo springs
chevy drop shackles
longer than stock (3-4in) pro-comp shocks
so what im thinking of doing is making my own drop brackets because i need to drop my differential any way and i hear the only way to do that is drop brackets
so im asking if you guys with a super lift could post up pictures as well as detentions for your drop brackets and/or ideas you guys have for me
Thanks

you only waited an hour for a thread bump??
How are you going to match that LCA drop with your knuckles? If you don't do anything to the knuckle height, the suspension will bind and you'd only have like 1/2" of suspension movement. Like we've said before, you're next step for height is a Superlift. That's it.
Imagine all your stock crap, being dropped down 3.5" and new taller knuckles to compensate for that 3.5". That's a Superlift kit. Center of stock bolt location to center of new bolt location is 3.5". So essencially a Superlift is a 3.5" lift. IDK how the heck you're gonna make torsion bar drops. Those are pretty darn complex.
One more thing: No hackjobs. Suspension hackjobs aren't anything you really want to skimp on. This sounds like it'll be a hackjob. no bueno.
