I am guessing the 2nd ones. They are double the price of the first ones and with my experience the more you spend usually the better quality of product you get. Plus there street performance shocks which should perfom great.

taknotes Dec 12, 2007 03:23 PM

but keep in mind, i want the best ride quality as well, and not always do you get what you pay for

taknotes Dec 12, 2007 03:27 PM

also, the first ones i have read were just for like a 3" drop...im sitting at 4" or 5", does it really matter?

greygooseranger Dec 12, 2007 03:32 PM

^^^Yes, well it may. If the shock has reduced travel due to your ride height, you will have ride quality issues...

taknotes Dec 12, 2007 03:43 PM

anything is better than running stock shocks lol

it depends how it was lowerd.. i see in your sig 2inch lowering coils, what eles did you do?

you may just have to raise the shock mount alittle bit or else the shocks may bottom out.. or lower the bottom mount wither way

if you want a stock ride nissan hardbody shocks fit rangers since they are smaller they are good for a 5 inch drop and will give you a stock ride and they are alot cheaper and you can get them at autozone. I forgot what years to ask for though.

as for the first selection you posted I have those in the back on my truck and they ride good.

taknotes Dec 13, 2007 08:23 PM

thanks mark, i went ahead and ordered the nitros earlier tonight

Mark98xlt Dec 14, 2007 10:52 AM

good you'll like them. They are alot better than toxics. Toxics just rode stiff and hard the nitros are a little more softer ride and a hell of a lot better. They ride damn good for my axle being on the frame.

taknotes Dec 14, 2007 11:01 AM

yea i have toxics in the front, i have no complaints from them really since ive never had a lowered vehicle before and these are the only lowered shocks ive ever had, but having stock shocks in the back, i know i want those gone lol

GrafixGuy Dec 14, 2007 11:19 AM

would those Belltesh Street Performance shocks work on a stock ranger as well? or just for lowered rangers?

taknotes Dec 14, 2007 12:26 PM

i think theyre just for lowered trucks cody...so lower yours!!

Belltech streets are NICE shocks. I put a pair on the rear of Shawnas truck when we flipped the hangers on hers. I would say they ride as nice as the Monotube ( Edelbrock IAS ) I have on mine.
